Embark on a two wheeled adventure and discover the splendour of Angkor at a slow pace. You will leave the hotel early while the temperature is still cool and cycle to Angkor Wat. By the time the sunrise watchers have left the scene you will arrive to appreciate the largest religious monument ever built. Astonishing in the morning light you will be able to photograph the temple from across the lotus pond and then continue to explore the many levels and intricately carved galleries. Your dedicated and knowledgeable guide will provide all the necessary information to bring Angkor times back to life. Hopping back on your bike you will then cycle to the centre of the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom and the splendid temple of Bayon with many enigmatic faces.

In this area you will take a well deserved lunch break.

After lunch you will continue on past the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King all the way to the jungle clad Ta Prohm temple. Having gained its  21st century fame from the Tomb Raider movie, the charming and iconic Ta Prohm features on most visitors' itineraries and rightfully so. Here nature takes over ancient manmade structures and golden Spung tree (Tetrameles Nudiflora) roots wrap themselves around mossy stones in a tight embrace. On the way back to town in the afternoon you will have the opportunity to stop and rest by the serene Srah Srang basin dating back to the late 12th century. Needless to say that such a great effort calls for a refreshing swim in the hotel pool or perhaps a relaxing massage!
